Severe case of animal neglect and abuse!

Hope was layed to rest on Dec 3rd 2010 after a long battle of diabetes her organ fuctions and kidney's shut down.  She has crossed over the rainbow bridge and now playing in the fields. We are heart broken that she is no longer here with us. She will be missed dearly. We love you Hope. Hope was a severe case of animal abuse. Was seen on news they called her bones. We felt she deserve better than that. The shelter that had her for 3 weeks never took her to the vet for medical attention so our rescue pulled her into our rescue to give her medical care. She spent a week in hospital on I.Vs and all kinds of blood work was done. She has to be on insulin two times a day.No animal sould ever be abused in anyway! People who abuse animals sould be charged to the fullest. She is around 3yrs old and has been a real sweetie. That is why we call Hope now because we fill she sould have hope to a better life. We will get her back to where she needs to be.Are you willing to give her a loving home? Update 11-4-09 Hope is doing very well gaining  weight  and very loviable girl! Hope 5-11-10 is doing well but has lost her eye sight but adjusting well and has gained more weight. We love her so much.

They Deserve Better Dog Rescue is a 501c nonprofit organization. A group of foster homes joining together to help dogs find forever homes where they can be part of the family.
WE ARE NOT A SHELTER.
Some of our dogs are rescues from puppy mills who have had to endure having multiple litters of pups and deplorable living conditions. Some dogs are taken from kill shelters to prevent euthanasia and give them a second chance or taken in on owner relinquishments or owner abuse cases. ALL pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and recieve any other medical needs.
We require a  adoption donation.  Fees may vary. Normally fees run $350-450 with puppies being higher.  This is to cover any medical fees, transporting to us and other expenses incurred for these dogs and future care for the next one. Some of the animals that come to us are sometimes costly with vet bills due to poor conditions they were kept in. Our goal is to place these animals as healthy and happy companions.
